DS3 only charges on rapid chargers

Having a strange issue with my DS3. It suddenly won't charge at home or at work's 7kW station! The green light flashes like it's starting, but the dash shows zero charge and it goes nowhere. Tried three different cables, even one from a friend's DS, and no luck. No deferred charging settings either. Strangely, rapid chargers with CCS work perfectly fine. Taking it to DS but has anyone else seen this weird charging problem? It charges fast, but not slow, makes no sense!

Have you tried resetting your battery? I've heard there's a recall about it because of a faulty AC/DC on-board charger.

Hmmm that's strange! It sounds like something could be up with the car’s onboard AC charger if it’s only working on rapid DC chargers and not at slower AC ones. Good call on taking it to DS! hopefully, they can pinpoint the issue. Fingers crossed it’s a quick fix!

There’s a recall for all Stellantis EVs on the PSA platform, including your DS. Hit up your dealer to get it checked out. It’s about the BMS and aircon, which could mess up the car if they fail. While you’re there, ask them to check the AC charging too, it’s still under warranty for the battery and EV stuff.

It's only accepting fast charging but not regular home or work charging which is very odd. Since the fast charging works the battery itself is probably okay. The problem is likely with the car's AC charging system or how it talks to the slower chargers. Since you've tried different cables the issue is definitely with the car. Taking it to DS is the right move. They'll need to investigate the car's systems. It'll be interesting to see what they discover.

Did DS figure out what’s wrong? Strange that fast charging works but not slow.
