So I picked up this used DS3 Crossback E-Tense about three weeks ago, and I'm totally digging it. It was really the only bigger car I could swing on my budget. So far, it's been smooth sailing—haven't run into any problems, knock on wood! Any other DS3 owners or leasers around? How's the range treating you, and any heads-up on things I should be wary of? I'm super careful with my car, so I'm all about avoiding trouble if I can help it!

Sorry but I don't really understand the DS brand. They're trying to be luxurious, but I don't buy it. Citroën's old models, such as the DS, 2CV, and CX, were very cool.

They should have gone with the retro vibe and made the interior extremely luxurious. Instead, the new DS E-Tense looks like any other boring car, with sharp edges and strange features. It does not feel special at all.

I kinda wish they'd kept the DS 3 as a hatchback instead of turning it into a crossover. It looked so much better before, and it probably would've gotten better mileage too. Oh well, I guess they know what sells.

City driving? Range is your friend. Highway driving? Not so much. Keep that regen on "High" to squeeze out every last mile. And don't forget about that 12V battery, a dead one can make your car act like it's possessed.

Owners of the DS3 Crossback or e-2008 can share their experiences, but keep in mind that a 106-mile trip in winter might be challenging for those cars. For better range, you might want to look into the Renault Zoe, VW ID.3, or Hyundai Kona from the Onto fleet. Other models may struggle in colder weather.
