Just checked out an Audi Q5 and compared it to my DS. While the Q5 has a plush interior, fancy virtual cockpit, and seems faster, the DS holds its own in space, has great seats, and gets better mileage (though the Q5's tank is bigger). Anyone driven both? Infotainment seems a generation ahead in the Audi, but the DS is no slouch overall!

I was really interested in the Q5, but the high boot sill and sloping roof made it a no-go for me. I need a lot of space in the back for my dogs, and the Q5 just didn't cut it. The interior looked nice, but the only leather option was black, which wasn't my cup of tea. So, unfortunately, I had to cross it off my list.

I’ve driven both, and while the Audi’s tech and performance are impressive, the DS definitely shines in comfort and efficiency. How did you feel about the driving dynamics between the two?

I’ve checked out the Q5 and even took it for a spin, but honestly, it didn’t really blow me away. The quality feels fine, but the materials? Meh, kinda underwhelming. Honestly, I think the DS does a way better job with that stuff.

Last October, my wife and I briefly looked at the Q5 before deciding on a DS. We basically just walked into the Audi dealership, checked out the back seat and trunk, and immediately left. The Q5's cargo space seemed no bigger than what I had in my previous A4.

I configured a Q5 to match my DS as closely as possible, and interestingly, the DS ended up being cheaper, though only by less than $2k. Given DS's reputation for packing in more value, I expected a bigger gap.

The Q5 has the tech and speed, but the DS really nails comfort and efficiency. It’s like comparing a luxury suite to a spacious, fuel-efficient road trip ride! Both have their perks, oh man this is a tough one!

It’s a tough call! Audi’s got the flash, but the DS offers a bit more practicality. Infotainment aside, I’d say it depends on what you’re looking for in the long run! Anyone else got experience with both?
