Sport ambiance sound issue

Hi guys, I'm a bit stumped here. My son's new DS4 Performance Plus E-Tense has a customization option called "Sport Ambiance Sound," but it only seems to work when the car is in Sport mode. He enabled it in the settings, but he can't hear any difference in the sound, either inside or outside the car.

We even asked our salesperson about it, and they had no idea what we were talking about! Has anyone else come across this "Sport Ambiance Sound" feature? Does it actually do anything, or is it just a software glitch? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

When I put the car in S mode, it's supposed to make those cool engine sounds, right? But I have to turn that on every single time, which is kind of annoying. I mean, why would you put it in Sport mode if you don't want the car to sound sporty?

In sport mode, the car kicks things up a notch by blasting artificial engine sounds through the speakers, all based on how much you floor it. It’s pretty quiet when you're just coasting, but once you hit the gas harder, like when you're launching from a stop, the sound really kicks in, giving you that extra sporty feel.

Honestly, I couldn’t find the "Sport Ambiance Sound" option anywhere. I’m thinking it might not be available on every DS4 model, anyone know for sure?

It sounds like a feature that doesn't actually do anything. It's common for salespeople to not know about every little detail. It could be a software error or a feature that was never fully finished. Since it only seems to work in Sport mode and you can't hear any difference it probably isn't working right. You should contact DS customer service for answer, or just accept that it's a software bug.

There's a chance the enhanced sound is only for the inside speakers, and not the outside ones.

I have to admit some of the new features in cars seem more like clever tricks than real improvements.I was genuinely excited to try the Smart Touch feature but after using it for a week it feels completely pointless.Does anyone else think these features are just getting too much praise without really delivering anything useful
