Locking issues with my DS7

I just got my DS7 and am surprised that it does not automatically lock when I walk away. I expected this feature to be standard, especially given the vehicle's advanced technology.

Also, the LED exterior lighting feature appears to work only when the car is unlocked and then locked remotely. This is inconvenient and could expose the vehicle to security risks.

I'm curious if there is a setting to enable these features, or if they simply do not exist on the DS7.

I’d expect walk-away auto-lock to be a standard feature on a premium vehicle like the DS7. My car has it, and I use it all the time, it’s super convenient! If it’s truly not an option, that’s a missed opportunity on DS’s part. The LED lighting behavior also seems unnecessarily complicated. Maybe a future software update will streamline things? Definitely worth giving DS customer support a call to confirm if these are limitations or configurable features.

Isn't this information in all the owner's manuals? My brother's DS4 is supposed to automatically lock and unlock when he walks away, but it's really inconsistent. Sometimes it works perfectly, and other times it just stops working for no apparent reason.

AFAIK, no DS models come equipped with this feature.

The manual says the car locks and unlocks itself when the key's nearby.

I think this info is in the manual. My DS4 locks/unlocks when I walk away, but it’s hit or miss. Same with the welcome and see me home lights, they work sometimes, then stop. I’m going to the dealership tomorrow for more info. Do you have the Matrix LED headlights?
